The 2006 Spring Conference carried out the theme: "Pathway to Tomorrow".
The state officers this year chose a city skyline theme that was used
for the walls, tables, programs, and even nametags. the officers
concentrated on careers in our future, and performed an opening skit
based on "The Apprentice" show, starring Johnald Trump (John Semmens).
Later that night, the
assembly hall held the "Night at the Races"—where students got to see
the dragsters race against each other, eat food, and mingle with the
other conference attendees.
Finally, on the last day
of the annual TSA conference, awards were handed out. Students took home
first, second, and third place trophies, and also won the chance to
attend the 2006 National Conference held in Dallas, Texas.
